I've had no Internet for a week, box has set on fire in my street. When I loaded up GTA V it went into offline mode, told me social club wasn't available and exited the launcher. Started it up again and the launcher displayed it was now in offline mode and the game started just fine. Is this the same for GTA V too? P.S: Link to the game on Xbox store would be really helpful. If you have set the console as the home Xbox, then you should be able to play most games offline, whether GTA V is one of them, I don't know. GTA V: Every character has their own garage next to their safehouses which can store 1 or 2 cars. To save it, just park it inside. Many PS3 games allow you to DL in the background while playing the game offline. AFAIK it's up to the devs to allow for it, and in my case all the times I've done it I have been signed out of PSN (on purpose) while playing the game. Games that are mp heavy never seem to allow for it no matter what my online status is though. Search for the file ‘commandline.txt’; Notepad used to open the commandline.txt file. ‘-scOnlineOnly’ a string that should be added to the text file. Save the text file to your computer. Done! The idea is by having a separated GTA V folder. One is for playing online which you have to keep it clean and the other is for playing a single-player where you can install as many mods you want. Well idk about borderlands but gta works through rockstar launcher so basically the game on steam/epic is just a shortcut to the rockstar launcher which requires internet, like i remember when i first got gta about a year back the servers were down the day after and I couldn’t even play story mode.
