I have 80+ mods inc Promods Map, jazzycat traffic mods, homemade skins, scenery mods etc. That looks handy for ease of use but they would need checking for compatibility with game version unless of course the op who has put these together has done it for you. Higher FOV (field of view) makes anything displayed on screen will seen faster than "normal" eye IRL. In game, press F4 three times and reduce view angle. To mimic as IRL, use 45-50 degree. However that is most suitable for player equipped with head/eye tracking device or VR mode. Keep in mind that changing g_traffic to higher values will increase all traffic which includes trains. This might also cause FPS issues at high values in dense areas as the g_traffic is a multiplier (base traffic cap is 50 with g_traffic 1.0). If you have any other mod active he could be interfering with traffic mod.
This mod changes the environment look. New trees, folliage, grass pattern and enviroment overall. This mod does not change the weather, so you can use it with any weather mod out there. Small update to fix incorrect textures for some fr_trees. Compatible with 1.39.x / 1.40.x. Addressed some black textures ( applied DXT5 compression ) while
Euro Truck Simulator 2 - e o FOV, como vai? faz diferença?- Em outros simuladores automobilísticos sempre faço esse ajuste de FOV, para ficar mais condizente
The angle you set your monitors to each other corrects for that appearance you see in the screenshot below. "Multimon fov vert/horz" you adjust this as necessary. 65 degrees seems to be sufficient for me. How it appears inside the truck: [ external image ] And how it appears in menus: [ external image ] My computer: When you go multi screen the horizontal and vertical FOV are set in the config file. The horizontal FOV is set at 50 degrees by default. I believe that number is applied to all 3 displays. So you are getting 150 degrees of coverage in a 3 screen display. I'll play with it to see how it affects the camera position.

ETS2 - COLLECTION OF MY MODIFICATIONS. This modification changes the field of view to the large side on all cameras in the game. Maybe not very convenient, but I like it. @David.Ikaël - Hey!

Does anyone know if there's an option to set the default FOV for ALL trucks. Maybe at some .ini file or similar. I find tedious having to change FOV all the time. Thanks
To avoid issues, place this mod at the top of other mods! This mod is tunning the mirrors weight, height and field of view (FOV) values to mimic the American-style truck mirrors, making the objects appear closer, taller and narrower in the main mirrors. Also, the wide angle, front and side mirrors FOVs are modified to provide a better viewing
camera_fov: 50. This already is a changed FOV value for the debug camera. Default is 70. If you start modding that file you should first get the actual one from the extracted base (def.scs, in this case). Because your's from a mod might be based on an old version, which could have different entries in the meantime.
Support for new ETS2 patch 1.48.5.x.x. This mod is tunning the mirrors field of view (FOV) values, making the objects in the main mirrors appear closer, like in reality. Also, the wide angle, front and side mirrors FOVs are modified to provide a better viewing experience for the driver. To avoid any issues place this mod at the top of other mods!

Also, this mod should work with any in-game truck or truck mod, but the results may appear different because of the way those trucks are modelled. Your position in the seat, your set field of view and other things might influence the way the mirrors are rendered. Trucker-Wouter Sep 12, 2023 @ 11:37am.
I don't want some crazy high FOV, but the one currently set just feels too flat for me and I'm using to playing games at a higher FOV. What should I do if, when I connect 3 monitors and turn on the surround, PhysX settings in one monitor 1> 3 in the game, the cockpit scale is very close, how can I remove all this? (fov) (camera settings via F3 do not change the field of view) If necessary, I can provide a screenshot. Что делать если при поключении 3 мониторов и включении
I just have to have a 'correct' FOV. :) As for immersion: I actually think that the correct or close-to-correct FOV provides better immersion than a comically high FOV. Trucks are slow and so should be the sensation in the game. The biggest immersion breaker with truck or racing sims is the lack of peripheral vision on a single monitor setup. Higher FOV = same image quality with a wider view. 1. I like the adjustment of FOV in the game but it skews the image if done too much, so in order to not have to use FOV too much i have to move the seat further back which make me feel like a passenger instead of driver. 2. .
